Inclusive Needs Sensory Movement Workshops:

At CAW fitness we believe that everyone no matter what age, size, gender, mental or physical capacity should be able to participate and experience exercise in a fun positive way. Tamara Castle (the owner of CAW Fitness) holds a level 3 diploma in early years childcare and special needs, level 2 in sign along, is a level 2 Rebound Therapist, holds BA Hons in Musical Theatre and has 6 year's worth of experience working and providing personal care for children suffering from multiple physical and mental disabilities. Using dance movement as a form of expression Tamara currently runs sensory dance workshops in various local schools teaching children with a wide range of learning difficulties and special needs.

Watch your child develop co-ordination skills, rhythmic sequences, experience sensory exploration and stimulate their Vestibular And Proprioception senses through self expression. Classes consist of a low impact cardiovascular warm up, including dynamic stretching and mobilisation to encourage muscle tone and strength. Moves including rhythmic sequences or exploration of dance through props and the use of sign along. Carers, parents and support workers are welcome to participate and support their children free of charge within classes. We also a have fully qualified and experienced instructors in our classes trained in challenging behavior, basic first aid and first aid for Epilepsy, as well as autism training, sign along, level 2 rebound trained and safeguarding trained. All instructors have undergone an enhanced DBS check.
